The Founding Partner tier is an exclusive, invitation-only plan for the first 25 merchants in your region. It features significantly reduced lifetime commissions and priority placement in the app. If the option is available during your digital onboarding, you can select it then.
There is no fee to join X-EATS. We take a 10% commission for every order you accept on the platform where you use your own delivery drivers. For example, on a £20 order, our commission is £2.40 (£2.00 + 40p VAT).
We take a 15% commission where we deliver for you. For example, on a £20 order, our commission is £3.60 (£3.00 + 60p VAT). Commissions are deducted from your weekly revenue. You receive an invoice every Tuesday, and the balance is deposited every Friday.
In England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, you need a food hygiene rating of 3 or more from the FSA to trade on X-EATS. In Scotland, you will need a 'Pass' rating from the FSS. You must be registered with your local council so an inspection can be carried out.
Possibly. We need to be sure you have the appropriate trading licences and registrations in place. Our compliance team will review your documentation during sign-up to ensure everything is correct.
Probably. It depends on your location. You'll be able to specify if you need delivery support during the sign-up process, and we will check if your area is covered by our delivery network.
Once you’ve submitted all documents and signed your contract, your business can usually go live on X-EATS within 5 working days.
Unfortunately, we do not allow residential premises to join the platform. If you expand to commercial premises in the future, we’d love to have you on board.
